Dr. Olusunmisola Oyesiku

Board-Certified Family Medicine Physician

Dr. Oyesiku is the founder and director of The Evening Clinics. She is a Board-Certified Family Medicine Physician and Women’s Health Specialist with over 10 years of medical experience in the USA & abroad.

She is also board certified in obesity medicine, with a passion for public health and community medicine and experience in rural practice and healthcare administration.

She graduated from Windsor University School of Medicine, St Kitts, obtained her MSc in Women’s Health and Reproductive Science at University College London, UK, and then completed her Family Medicine Residency at UAB Selma Family Medicine, Alabama.

She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) and an active member of the Alabama Academy of Family Physicians, Medical Association of the State of Alabama, and the American Medical Women’s Association.

Currently licensed in Alabama and Georgia States, she is clinically proficient in outpatient preventive and primary care, managing chronic conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, gout, and osteoarthritis. She provides comprehensive women’s health and gynecological services, including pap smears, family planning, insertion & removal of long-acting reversible contraceptives (such as IUDs & Nexplanon), Colposcopy, and LEEP.

She performs a wide range of office procedures, such as skin biopsies, joint injections & aspirations, incision & drainage of abscess, cerumen removal, acute wound care, intravenous infusions (iron and hydration therapy), and point of care ultrasounds (POCUS). She also serves as a preceptor to residents and medical students from various allopathic & osteopathic medical schools during clerkships in family and rural medicine and actively engages in community outreach events and health fairs, delivering health talks and educational sessions for continuing education (CEs).

Dr. Olusunmisola Oyesiku is a board-certified Family Medicine physician, Women’s Health specialist, and Obesity Medicine physician with extensive clinical and academic experience.

Dr. Olusunmisola Oyesiku: 

  • Currently licensed in Alabama and Georgia States.

Delivers informative talks on chronic medical conditions, preventive care, and women’s health topics at schools, churches, town halls, and community centers. Engages with diverse audiences to provide practical health guidance and foster informed lifestyle choices. Collaborates with local organizations and media outlets to expand public health awareness and address pressing community health issues.
